I am having a registry/configuration error during bootup of win 98. The following warning was generated: Warning: windows has detected a registry/configuration error. Choose, commmand prompt only, and run SCANREG. When I try to run scanreg /restore in the command prompt the following appears: Program too big to fit in memory. What should I do in order to run SCANREG so that I can restore the registry. Help is urgently needed.
