I recently downloaded the macromedia fireworks demo. After installing it, I noticed that whenever I boot up macromedia freehand, the splash screen stays up, and cannot be removed. (the program is not locked up..it works fine, but with the huge splash screen center stage) I uninstalled the fireworks demo, and freehand, and then reinstalled them. The problem with the splash screen on freehand is back. Fireworks demo works fine, but the freehand is still messed up. Is there a registry key htat I can check/modify to fix this problem. Macromedia tech support has been of little help. The freehand program was not cheap, and I am kind of p*ssed off that a free demo (by the same company) could mess it up. ANy help would be most appreciated.
