I was wondering if there is a way to get regedit to open a different user.dat than the current one. Would it work to right click-open with...-regedit? I know that these registry files are big databases, so is there another program that would fill my need?

Summary: Why do you want to open it? User.dat is one to two files (system.dat is the other) which make up the registry data. If you corrupt it, you can easily end up getting to reinstall W9X. My advice...back ...
