Red "x's" instead of pictures

When I'm on the Internet, instead of pictures I get these little red x's in little boxes. Is that a memory problem? A hardware problem? I think I have plenty of memory. I'm using Windows 98. Helllppp!!!

If you're using Internet Explorer
go to......
tools.
internet options.
advanced.
and make sure there is a tick in 'show pictures'

check in ....

If it only happens occasionally it's probably the web sites fault.

Thanks, but "show pictures" is ticked and it is happening all the time. I'm also getting invalid page faults--could there be a connection??

your using IE5, try repairing it,,ie,,control panel/add-remove programs/start IE removal, and choose repair.
