Is show pictures check marked ?
Do the pic's show if you refresh the page ? Do the pic's show if you reboot and go to that last site again ? Is it allways the same page that has the pic's "x"ed out ?

Perry,
Tufenuf's link is good but I see that your problem only occurs after surfing for 10 minutes or so whereas the link appears to be referring to the ever present problem versus only after surfing a while.
You can also check the size of your Temporary Internet Files (TIF) folder setting. I am guessing that it is set too low.
From IE Tools, Internet Options, TIF Settings button. Set it at 20mb to see if it helps. Mine is set at 60mb (too high) and never have a problem.
