Comment:

Deleted items are not showing up in RB.

I checked in the Global settings and the bypass recycle bin box is unticked.

I use CCleaner but have the RB item unticked also.

Any help would be appreciated.

If the size of the recycle bin is too small a file or series of files may bypass the RB. Right click on the bin and go to properties to see what percentage of the drive is alloted to the RB.

Found the fix at Kelly's Corner.

Right clicked RB and clicked "Empty Recycle Bin" and confirmed and then tried deleting a file and it now shows in The RB.

That is because of the condition I mentioned in the #1 response. You need to enlarge the capacity of the recycle bin or empty more often. The default is 10% of the drive size. When a drive is very small this may not be enough.

I beg to differ. It is set at 10% of the drive and has been for the 7 years I have had this PC. When clicking properties it was showing a very low amount in the RB.

Thanks anyway for the input.
