the best one will be whichever works for you! there are lots available on the net for download. One good one is Recover4all Proffessional. But to restore files once found you need an activation key for which you need to register and pay. You will find this is the case for most of them. If the drive or disk is damaged you might want to try Badcopy. It can restore stuff off damaged disks too. Search on web for them. You might find some on download.com
