I have a ethernet card REALTEK RTL8139. ITS WORKING FINE WITH WINDOWS 95. i.e. loging and connect to network. BUT WHEN I UPDATE TO WINDOWS 98 NETWORK CARD IS DETECTED AND ALSO I INSTALL DRIVER OF IT. BUT IT CAN'T LOGING AND CONNECT TO NETWORK. WHEN I REINSTALL TO WIN95 AGAINST ITS WORKING FINE.
WHAT IS THE PROBLEM. IS DRIVER IS NOT WORKING TO WINDOWS 98.

First off using ALL CAPS is like yelling with text and it's harder to read.
Ok. you need to find out if the card is working properly. go to Control Panel / System / Hardware / Device manager.
if there is a problem Network Adapters will have maybe a yellow "!" indicating there is a issue.
If it's there and working properly, go to Start / Run and type in "command". this will take you to the DOS command shell.
First type in "ipconfig /all" this will show you the network properties. look for the computer Name.
type in "Ping and press enter.
What you should see is 4 Pings, commands that send a few data packets to your adapter and it reports how successful it was.
