Realtek Ethernet drivers

Hi, im having trouble installing my Realtek EN2000 PnP card ethernet card. The plug and play features in win95 ask for files that dont exist.

Are there any known patches for this?

The files may already be on you hard drive.
Try 'Browsing' into the windows/system and windows/system/iosubus etc.

If all else fails the card will more than likely work with a NE2000 compatible driver in the default driver list.

Just thought I'd tell ya that im having exactly the same problem - finding the drivers for the RTL8029 Ethernet adapter card. I got the default drivers off my Win98 cd, and my network is therefore working but id still like to get hold of the proper ones.

My system hungs up when I try to access one of the two cross-connected Win 98 PCs.
Has somebody such a problem too ?

I have two realtek 8139 ethernet card(10/100Mb/s)
The BIG problem is that these cards only work at 10Mb/s! When i choose the autodetect option or the 100Mb/s option, the card doesn't make a connection.

Somebody: HELP!

Try going to http://www.realtek.com.tw/cn/driver/8029-driver.htm

Download the win95-8029(354).exe

Pleas email me if it works fine or not...

The realtek 8029 drivers are on the win95 b ver disk under \drivers\netlan\rtl8029 they work fine if a win98 computer detected a 8029 card. Hope this helps all of you

I'm having trouble configuring an ethernet (10 Mbps) network with a PC running win98 and another running win2000.

It seems that the PC running win2000 can't even send a frame on the network.

i have a realtek fast ethernet RTL8139 PCI card and the driver does not get initiated and i have completely lost the network connection. if anyone can help me out by sending me the drivers i would be greatefull.....

as soon as i get my machine back online and running good from its really bad crash i can e-mail the Realtek 8139 drivers to anyone who wants them make sure though you have at least 5megs of space at your e-mail address for instance hotmail only has 1meg and that wont work

1 Got some cheap realtek 8139 cards
2 Got cheap 10/100 8 port switch
3 installed cards in 3 pc's
4. installed linux drivers for both 2.2
and 2.4 kernels -- Everything just worked!
5. Installed win98 drivers -- no go
6. repeat with variations #5 4 times -- nada
7. re-install win98 -- nada
8. install from scratch win98 -- nada
9. search for solution on internet -- working
