Realtek drivers dont work in win98 DOS Mode... Network support only available in windows mode, but not in DOS mode. Says that the driver is missing, or netbios or ipx not running, something.. like that. But instead, of realtek when SimpleNet(SOHO) SN3200 drivers from the diskette was installed

..Dos networking is a different animal. You have to have dos drivers for the and nic and msdos lan manager for the network. Makes you appreciate Windows 95,98 and NT.
Summary: My drivers I installed with the emergency boot disk in dos work in dos with the cd-roms but not in windows 98 and when i start win98 everytime it says restart computer to update settings or do it late...

Summary: Getting an error message when running Autocad in MS-DOS mode now. I replaced the hard drive recently, and reloaded Windows 98. Forgot to take down all the notes as to what was in CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEX...
