I dont know maybe my fire wall i can i disable in order to donload.
any way sir it open the site but when i attemt to down load it appear the eror. at the download site.
any idea sir.

If the Realtek chipset is built into the mboard, the drivers for it are on the CD that came with the mboard.

Thanks for your help guys. I turn off my firewall then i can open now the site you provided thank you again. one more question? Is
realtek 8029 is the same with 8029(as)? the one
I got here is 8029 but the one I need is 8029(as). thanks

I can't definatly say they are the same but that is the only one I found listed on the Realtek site.

thank you sir OtheHill, I finished to update the driver. under the the realtek device it appear this one. "oem mfg midi port device".
where I can find this driver.?

Going back to square one. The best resource for any integrated drivers is the MBoard manufacturer. There may be differences in the devices from vendor to vendor. As I understand it, if a chip has multiple features there may be a fee for each feature used. The chip may be the same on two boards but what is Enabled may be different on each.
Why did you go out looking anyway. Aren't there drivers for this device on the board CD?
You were asking for help with a Network device. The midiport is part of a sound card or sound chip. Do you also have a realtek sound chip? You need to get the drivers from the MBoard maker for ALL your devices. If you recently installed Windows you need to install a number of drivers from the manufacturer.

Thank you for that info sir OtheHill, this pc that i repaired is from taiwan my brother in laws broght here. and the os installed is taiwanes so there is no cd. i change it with win98 se os.i have no motherboard driver. where can i see the motherboard name so that i can down load the necessary driver. thanks in advance for assiting me.

I finish to down load the SIW how to use these one. I will install this software to the one that I repaire.
after i install what next.

The install will place an ICON on the desktop. Just doubleclick the ICON to open the program.

ok thank you very much sir. i will install tomorow i will post the result.
may i know your location if you dont mind.
thank you for your kindness.

Good day sir this is the result i found.
manufacturer of motherboard is LG ELECTRONICS INC.
MODEL: MS-6119(i440bx)
version 1x
pls help me to locate where Ican download this LG motherboard driver.

Your mboard does not have a built in Realtek chipset - it's on a card in one of the slots. See response 1,2,and 6 for drivers.
There are no main chipset drivers on the pages for your mboard on the MSI site - that is often the case. You often need to get the main chipset drivers from the maker of the chipset's site.
Win 98 does not have built in drivers for this main chipset. Get your main chipset drivers here:
Intel 440 Chipset family:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Pro...Get and install #2 - the INF Update Utility.

I did not read all the posts, but I had the same problem and I could download at www.driverguide.com. Try it.
Best regards
