Go to http://realplayer.com and download the application there!
Or if you want a better program, try Windows media player 7.1 http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
Click on Windows Media player 7.1

If you're running Win95 you can go no higher than Media Player 6.4 - which doesn't support a lot of the RealPlayer formats.

My windows media player version is 6.4 and it not only plays all the formats realplayer does but also the ones it doesn't. Ralplayer is just a (theoretically) music and video player. I say theoretically because it has NEVER EVER run a video file for me, and I'm talking basic formats like .mov, .mpg, and .avi. The realplayer program also sends information back to their headquarters to send you junk email. If you leave with ANYTHING I say, DO NOT get realplayer, its nothing but trouble. I'm stil;l working on this problem myself. if you want to play the file, go to the start menu/programs/accesories/entertainment and selct windows meadia player. the use that to go to "file/open" and find the file to open. To fix the problem completely, find someone who can tell you how to get realplayer to stop associating with your files.

Hope this helps.

Well... mine won't open *.rm files - "unsupported format" is all it says.
Never had a problem with associating file types to either RealPlayer or Windows Media Player. It's nice to have choices, I use them both.
