Comment: Has anyone noticed that "realplay" continues to show as a running process (CTRL + ALT + DEL) long after is has been closed (ie a memory leak)? Is there a fix for this? This may also be a problem in '98 but because I do not have '98 I cannot comment on that. I now run Media Player (6.4) to avoid this problem. Reply: (edit)There are two things it hangs around for, Updates and Registration. If it's RealOne I have fixes I worked out for both (although my RealOne is getting a bit ancient now, so things may have changed). Shout back if you need it. There is another way around this and it is to get "RealPlayer Alternative" freebie (Google around). This has no junk that gets in the way and I've heard good reports about it. Sounds like the best idea to me. RPA is pretty well up to date as far as file types go, although Real might get it swiped off the net eventually. DerekW

Reply: (edit)Many people consider RealOne or RealPlayer to be spyware...if you feel you need it, get the Alternative version
