Hiya fellas ! need ur opinions pls. i was using realplayer 8 all these years and oflate i realised that most of the streaming real media formats now require realone player which as per my xperience is nowhere near the good old RP8...wonder how many of ya agrees with me...but still can any1 pls suggest me a media player which can play streaming real video/audio media apart from realone ?? thanks a ton mates. I have found one called JetAudio that will play the .ra and the .ram Realplayer files. It is a freebie and also plays a lot of other audio and video files. Go to www.jetaudio.com and d/l the free version Good Luck Smitty

Michael12 Is there a download link where you can get Real Alternative Version 1.02 I've searched and cannot find it using google.

In case you haven't found it yet, Real Alternative can be downloaded here: http://www.freecodecs.com/ It's actually just the codecs needed for playing the files, but it can install Media Player Classic as well, which works with these codecs. I've found that Media Player Classic is my favorite player for anything, not just Realmedia files. It's nowhere near as bloated as WMP7/8/9, in fact, it actually looks nearly the same as WMP 6.4. It's a freeware program (not made by Micro$oft) that is small, fast, and while having the interface of WMP 6.4 (which I like) it has many more features.
