I have two computers running windows 98. They are networked together with a phone line. I had a problem with them both computers losing time. So I replaced the batteries about a month ago. Now they are losing time again. I get this error message evertime I restart either computer that says, "Rate and Delay must be specified Together, Bad command or filename". I don't know if this has anything to do with the time being screwed up.

'Bad command or file name' errors on startup usually come from autoexec.bat. You might check there and post back the contents if you can't figure it out.
