Comment:
I have a 700 Mhz AMD gateway computer, it has 256MB of ram installed, i've tried it two different ways, 2 X 128, 2 X 64 +1 X 128, and no matter how I try it windows 98 se only says 65MB of Ram installed, It doesn't have onboard video, and the bios reads the 256 just fine. Any help would be appreciated.
When I right click on my computer and go to properties. In the menu box that appears at the bottom it gives the AMD processor information, says Windows 98SE, and 65.0 MB Ram...I haven't changed anything in the msconfig, but I will look there to see if any changes have been made.. Thanks
