in the config.sys have the line:

device=a:\ramdrive.sys /E 8192

this assumes you have ramdrive.sys on the disk

I booted with the Win98 SE startdisk and a ramdrive was built. Now I have Win2000 but the RAM-Drive is stil alive. How can I delete this drive? Because I have problems using Partition Magic with this Ram-D!
Thanks!

This is a copy of my Config.sys file. Note that I have loaded ramdrive TWICE. this is because the MAX RAM DRIVE you can have is 32MB. So 2X32=64MB RAMDRIVE. But it will display as D: and E:

Config.sys:
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS /TESTMEM:ON
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.exe
DEVICEHIGH=C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\CPQIDECD.SYS /D:IDECD001
DEVICEHIGH=c:\windows\RAMDRIVE.SYS 32767 /E
DEVICEHIGH=c:\windows\RAMDRIVE.SYS 32767 /E
DOS=HIGH,UMB,AUTO
FILESHIGH=80
BUFFERSHIGH=40,4
FCBSHIGH=10
SWITCHES=/F

Good Luck....
