.pza unknown file format can't open file

i am stumped , i have never heard of this type of format .pza ...I would like to oepn this file it is ona floppy , when I try to open it i get this error "can't open file A:\CHRISTMAS1.pza unknown file format can't open file ... I know how to create a new file type in folder options but dont know where to start , or what to write to make a new one , please help

G'day Anita, try opening it in notepad or wordpad first and see what the first 2 chars are, examples BM [bitmap], MZ [executable] PK [compressed zip file] and get back to us if no else gives a better responce. This might determine [might] what it is.
Those examples are called a header signiture I believe
Of course it may be just a text file also.
