Whenever I open a Microsoft Mail related program (MSN Messenger, Outlook Express) I get a message that says pstores.exe has caused an error in pstores.exe. I get his message about 5 times and then the program starts. Is there anyway of fixing this? Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanx.

Hi,

These files are in "C:\Windows\System" folder. You will probably need to exit Internet Explorer and Outlook Express first. Change the name of "PSTORES.EXE " to "PSBASE.BAK" and do the same extensions name change for the other three. Restart your system, and Outlook Express should be much faster. Eventually these components probably need to be replaced, but I was able to run Outlook just fine without them, and it was quite a bit speedier to boot.

Regards,
Sherlock
