I am about to order a Promise Ultra ATA 100 TX2 PCI drive controller from DABS (uk)does it come with a Ultra 100 80-wire cable. as I need to use this to get the most speed out of the drive. I am told that if I use a regular IDE cable, I will be limited to Ultra 33.Has anyone purchased one recently from DABS ? the Specifications only tell me that 1x IDE cable-internal is included

Don't know the answer for sure. The last one I purchased was over a year ago and I can't recall for sure. Wouldn't have mattered, though because the drive came with an 80-wire cable anyway.
