I have downloaded a driver onto a CD to enable 256 colours etc on my PC, but now seem to require a program called Program that enables the computer to open up Zip files, from the CD. Where can I obtain this from?

forgot to also mention that both of these will also open up Microsoft formatted .cab files. Which can come in kinda handy sometimes.

Hi,

Just wanted to let you know I use a program called "FreeZip" and find it easy to understand and use ... and as the name implies it is free!

Check it out here: FreeZip Homepage

It is a small but easy to understand and use zip and unzip utility. I have no computer expertise at all and if I can master it anyone can.

Have a good day.

Regards,

Phil

Let's not forget my personal favorite...PowerArchiver. It has an interface similar to Winzip, but versions prior to 7.0 are freeware.

Get it at Old Version.com
