I have an NEC Product Recovery cd-rom with Win95 OS. I have done a clean install of Win98 because I didn't want to upgrade 95 to 98. All the applications are on the Nec cd and are in a .gts and .gtz file format - compressed?. The problem is that I want to install some of the apps from the NEC cd. My question is - does any body know how to install the apps or possibly extract them so that I can install the apps. I don't have a clue. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

A CD like that came with my PC. I visited their web site and there was some information about how to recover some specific programs. Try to contact your manufacturer and get detail information about that. It's not easy and sometimes it could be dangerous. I even extracted some of them, but the new ones will not work.
