I have an older (1996) computer - Sony PCV90, 200mhz, 64 mb ram. I want to see if I can get this to function a while longer. The system is based on the Intel AG430HX motherboard. What can I do to upgrade? Upgrade to MMX?

My computer is even older (100MHz Pentium 1 on Intel 430FX chipset) and I did the 233MHz upgrade.... System went unstable after about three months and I had to return to original processor - I think my power supply is flaky so I don't blame the processor - Evergreen customer service was very good.

If you put a processor in a board that does not support it, you are going to have problems, sooner or later...

So maybe my best bet is to just upgrade the RAM from 64 mb to 128mb. Will this make a difference?
