Hi guys, This problem has been a pain in the neck. Everytime I boot Windows, it always asks for a PS2 mouse or serial mouse installed. Intellipoint 3.2 software is installed already, and PS2 mouse support in BIOS is disabled as well. Any ways to work around this thing ?

Your computer almost sounds like a carbon copy of one I had a helluva time putting together last month. Furthermore, I ran inot the same problems with an Intellimouse; although it was not USB (it was serial). After spending far too much time on the problem, I eventually removed the Intellimouse software and went with a generic Kensington serial mouse. It works fine. I still have no idea what the problem was, and I'll be looking closely at the responses for your message.

It's fixed finally. Someone from AMDZone forum has helped me. There is a patch from Microsoft regarding this problem. General USB Trouble Shooting: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q263/2/18.ASP?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=0
