Problems with Hitachi CDROM!

I use WIN95B.I had a creative CDROM 24x which worked perfectly and i upgraded to a hitachi 32x, but my OS can't see it.I use the latest drivers, i use add new hardware utility but no luck.Can anybody help me.WIN95b are supposed to be pnp!!!

Have you set the drive as a "master/Slave", in the back of the drive and in CMOS? Make sure you also set your "drive status" in the setup as Primary,Secondary,Tertiary or Quaternary as per your Daisychain.

Got problems in MSDOS6.22, Win3.11, 95 and 98 of corrupted data and missing cabs with 24x yet ! i use hit-ide.sys driver if you find anything please drop me a line ! thank U

I have an old Hitachi 7930 Cdrom (x8!) I cannot do the DAE correclty with it, because the generated *.wav sounds very ugly! Is it possible to obtain a correct DAE with my cdrom?
