Alright, I'm going to try to explain this as best as I can... I'm trying to run this DOS based game called Deadline on my computer. When I do, it boots up DOS and I see 3 of each image, each overlapping the next just a little bit. If nothing else I can try to post a picture of the problem, but any suggestions? This game works on another computer of mine. I have also found out that it's been happening on another program that runs in DOS, but it doesn't do it on all programs.

So you're running this from within Win98 I gather. The other computer that the game works on, is it a 98 machine?

On the "problem" machine, have you tried setting the PIF to run in MSDOS mode? (Right click on the PIF and choose Properties, Program, Advanced.)

Both computers is 98, and I've tried doing that with making it run in DOS, but when I change the properties and double click it, it just restarts the computer... into windows. It sucks that my other computer that all these programs work on is only a 300mhz 300mb RAM computer and my main that has much superior stats it won't work on... My main computer seems to have a whole mess of problems though, and after reinstalling windows the problems just come back up... like blue screen VxD errors when I run certain programs, could all these problems I have be connected in some way to corrupted hardware?

Based upon your above statement I suggest you start a new topic in this forum, with the worst of the problems listed as the Subject line. This game problem is most likely not fixable with all the other problems you mentioned. It's best to get the machine working correctly and stable, which might fix this problem automatically.
