i have lost the standard pci graphic display adapter[vga] while formating now i have only 16 and 2colors i even dont know the card no plz help

Go into DISPLAY / Properties / Settings / Advanced and look for you adpater (which should show in the "change" --or whatever it might be labeled-- window.) and click on it. Let Windows look for drivers.

you should have a Video Driver Disk that came with the system / video card.
The drivers will be on this disk.
If you do not have such a disk, you may have to open the case, remove the card and find manufacturer/make and do a net search for the drivers.
