Problem with sidewinder 3d pro

Hi WWW people! I'm having this wierd problem with my joystick. When i install the drivers ver3.02, the joystick does'nt work and the game i'm playing intermittenly jerk for a few seconds. But when i make a new profile in Game Controller, it can work. Has anybody solved this problem yet???????

I have Microsoft SideWinder 3D pro,but the installation software is for windows 95 not 98, is there other software I can get to make my joystick work.

Dont even bother going to microsoft, they suck about drivers and have a bunch of broken links, if your looking for the right driver for the (best) joystick the sidewinder 3d pro might as well give up, seems microcrap forgot about it.. if anyone finds the drivers someday the rest of the world will want to know where
