Problem with Msword (Office 2000)

all the menus and shortcuts of my MsWord disappear as in all the toolbars. there's no options left not even the File, Edit, View etc.. so i don't have some resort to fix it. pls help

Just a guess, try right clicking the toolbar area, and see if you can select the menu.? Hmm...

Are you in Full Screen mode? If so, there should be a floating button on screen somewhere marked close full screen.

See how you get on here but if this post gets near the bottom of the page without a fix then you could try the "Office Software" forum.
One possibility would be to uninstall/re-install Office but I would leave that as last resort.
"IF" this has happened recently and suddenly then maybe shutting down to DOS and running scanreg /restore might fix it. You choose a date just before it happened. Again this is a bit like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut but it's a thought to put on the back burner if all else fails.

You can try running setup from your office cd and select the repair option.
