Code: 0
URL: file://C:\WINDOWS\web\folder.httI installed the update from Lightspeed's refrence page using the "Install with IE 5.x Already installed" It also gives mr the same mwssage when I am in "My Computer", but with a diferent .htt file.
I am Using IE 5.5 from an AOL 8.0 Disk.
Customer: Do you have any mouse pads?
Salseman, pointing: Over there.
Customer: Great!, will they be comadible with my computer.

The information suggests that you are using View as Web Page in your Explorer folder view settings.
You can either remove the tick next to it to stop using Web Page view or go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Internet Options (or go through IE tools menu), Advanced and place a check next to "Disable script debugging" and remove the check next to "Display a notification about every script error". Click Apply and Ok.
(I believe IE5.5 has those options too)

Bryan

A link to Lightspeed's update would have been nice to look at before posting this...
You might try installing 5.6 Scripting Host package. Even though 95 isn't listed, I have applied previously obtained 5.6 script packages to 95 just fine. I haven't tried this latest version to see if it flies or not. Let us know.

i'll try that. I was able to disable the webpage view in everything but the desktop and it quit. I forgot to tell ya that the place where the folder should appear in the upper left corner shows the place holder, and a red x. I'm sorry.
