I installed other versions of divx, directX (exen 8.0), graphics, sound, chipset drivers and nothing. On windows95, and Me, it causes the same problem. On other machines the same movie files works OK. I have Riva TNT 2 M64/32Mb, duron 600, VIA KT133 based mainboard

If it fails the same way in Win95, Win98 and Win ME on the same machine, it would seem to be a hardware problem.

I Had a similiar problem with a new graphics card ATI Radeon 64Mb. I Reinstalled video card by removing Drivers in device manager for video card and then manually installing them with the latest patch for the drivers I downloaded. Good luck, it worked for me, but I had to monkey with it for 8 hours.

I did it. Still no effects.

every 3d program/game I try to run comes up with the error DDHELP caused an invalid fault in module STL50032.dll at 0137:b00b138a. followed by several register code lines. How can I clear this up..
