problem with Ddhelp.exe i think ... help

i have a big problem with my system . i cant run any EXE files or at least those installation files i download from the internet. each time i try to run it i get a different massage. usually things that involve parameters and stuff and sometimes the usual windows error msg. sometimes when i run those Exe files i get a massage that says the the system file : Ddhelp.exe has been replaced by an older version of it by some application i ran. the problem is that i havent ran any application. hope someone have answers for me, thanks ahead yoni

No idea why this has happened but since ddhelp.exe is a DirectX file there is a chance that downloading/installing the latest version of this will cure the problem.
