I just installed Wingate 3.05, trial version. The client shows it is connected to the internet (via wingate), but it's not sending/receiving data. When i try to ping say, yahoo.com from client, it gives me "None of the wingate servers are responding. You may have to restart your wingate server."

I already tried restarting the wingate server. Also tried AUtomatically obtaining IP from Wingate, and tried assigning IP to the client's NIC. I also tried putting the IP of the server's NIC into the Client's "gateway" section. Also tried putting my ISP's DNS into Client's DNS section, and tried disabling DNS. Nothing seems to work.

I'm also puzzled as to exactly how to make the client to connect to/activate Wingate. Sometimes i have to explore my server machine from client's neighbour network several times before wingate connects. Sometimes it automatically starts...

Any help is appreciated. Thanks
