problem formatting hard drives... A

i try to format my hard drive and i ude
Format c:
this one appears:
7554
trying to recover allocation unit...502

after more than 12 hours it has still not stopped...pls help

sorry but you need to go buy a new harddrive.... good luck.

Hello:
You can try to low level the drive this will mark the bad sector and you will be able to format the drive.
