Privateer (not enough EMS/memory)

I have Win98 and cannot get privateer to work. I went to the *.exe file, right clicked, went to properties, advanced, and chose to make the program ignore the fact it is in windows. Now I get an error message that says I do not have enough EMS. I noticed that in the memory tab of DOS, it says that it is set with no EMS and I do not know how to get EMS. Can someone help me?
