Printing from Laptop

I currently have a desktop with win98se OS.
I also have a HP laptop (XP) that is networked to the desktop wireless.

I can not print to the printer connected to the desktop when I have a Word doc opened.
Troubleshooting this problem, I am able to send a test page to the printer.

Instead of just clicking the printer icon, click: File> print> then verify the correct path and printer show in the window.
