Hello all. I am having a bad problem.
I have an HP Laserjet 1100 printer. Manual feed. No manual (got it used). I recently asked it to print a test page. It did. But now, it refuses to print anything but test pages. I ask it (via the omputer) to print certain documents, and all that comes out are test pages. I make sure that the queue is empty, but get the same blasted thing over and over.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled; tried printing after restart. Same thing. Unplugged printer and left it unplugged for a minute or so. Plugged it back in and restarted. Same thing.
I have windows 98 on this machine along with 356 Mb of RAM.
I have done searches on this site and others for information that might lead to the correct actions. I haven't had a bit of luck.
Does anyone have any inkling of how I might correct this most perplexing problem?
Any help, suggestions, solutions, or just plain old sympathy *sniff* will be very much appreciated.
Thanks everyone.

Are you using the drivers from HP's driver website? If not, try uninstalling your HP software in add/remove programs and try another installation using the new downlaoded drivers.

Has the printer got a button on the case itself that you can press to print a test page ?
Maybe it is stuck down !Krystyna

no krystna, but that is something that i would not have thought to check.
thanks for the effort anyway. :)
