I am still having a problem with the new printer that I am trying to install not being recognized...I just upgraded to 98 from 95. I have the printer connected to the PC using a USB port and I have it plugged in and on and when I turn on the PC it doesn't start the Add New Hardware Wizard...can anyone tell me what could be wrong? Thanks so much for any help!

It is a USB device, right? Unplug the printer from pc. Now reboot with printer still unplugged. After boot is complete, in other words everthing loaded and cursor not busy, plug in USB cable from printer into pc. If it still does not bring up found new hardware and building driver base, you may have a bad connector on your printer. May need to use the parallel connecion.
