Primary Slave - Not detected

When I turn on my computer I get the messages Pri Slave.. Not detected and Sec Slave... not detected. The Primary and secondary master are fine.
The curser on the screen then flashes and but does not boot up any further. PLease help.

Can you get to the BIOS ? On screen, it may say "Press DEL to enter setup" Do that, and check in the Standard CMOS Setup that the channels are set to Auto Pri Master = AUTO Pri Slave = AUTO Sec Master = AUTO Sec Slave = AUTO

what drives do you have connected ie: pri IDE master, slave and sec. IDE master,slave? and are the drives set as master,slave or cable select? and in the bios are the masters detected correctly? and did you add any hardware?
