Comment:

I turned on my computer early today, to find that the monitor has a black
screen with an error message that says Information === monitor is in power
save mode and activate using PC. I called tech. support at Dell three
times, they told me to unplug the power cord, remove and replace the video
card but was unsuccessful, then I was told to tap the window key on the
keyboard once then hit the enter button, but that was unsuccessful too.
Then I was told to reboot and have rebooted more times than I can count. I
swapped monitor but it did not help but I know the other monitor worked then The keyboard will not light up and the
mouse's curse is not seen and the speakers won't light up( all my
peripheral don't work properly). The ABCD light in the back of the computer
tower are not lite up. PLEASE HELP ME AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!

Try clearing the NVRAM as follows:
-Turn off the computer
-Disconnect the monitor.
-Unplug the computer.
-Take out the video card.
-Remove the CMOS battery for a couple of minutes.
-Insert the battery.
-Connect the video card and monitor.
-Turn on computer.

Any luck?
