Is there a way to open Power Point files with .pps extension using some other program?

Hey ! come on now ! .pps files are MEANT to be opened with MS powerpoint !.
Some module of Star office, Office Suite might be able to open it...and not to mention... powerpoint viewer :D

The person that sent the file could have used the "Pack 'n Go" feature so it will have the viewer within the file.

Or you can get the viewer for free from Microsoft at http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/9798/ppview97.aspx it is less than 3mb in size.

I do not think you will be able to open it with anything else.
