I have a dell latitiude CPx h450Gt PIII
can someone tell me how to get rid of my power on password! It says i need a primary or administrator password.

Good luck, those things are like fort nox.

It's stored in a security chip on the mainboard.

DELL may help you if you can prove owndership of the laptop, give them a call.

Nr, Andrew which is the operating system you are using? is it the windows 98 or windows 95. and what password is it? is it the BIOS password or the windows password? id it is BIOS password refer to the user manuals you got with the dell system and try to locate a passwd jumper on the motherboard. if it is a windows passwd, pls lemme know and i will send you a nice document
