thank you first for seeing. every time i start the internet, it needed password. After that it will load. But this takes me about 2 min to access the internet. sometime it ever hang. any solution??? Thanks for those who can help very much!!!

Control panel, internet, connection. Under dial-up networking connection go to properties, server types. Make sure log onto network is NOT checked.

Hi! First the above answer is only used by Windows 95/98 to look for a MSN server, then Windows if had not found a MSN server to Log-on to (Applies only if you have an MSN account) will look for your ISP server in which to log-on. Which yes, will speed up the process just a bit. What you can do is download a connection automation software which will do everything you need from the Internet.

in my understanding wcdoc is correct.logon to network attempts to log you on to the server using the same id/password you used to log on to windows, and isn't a lot to do with MSN. i think wcdoc gave good advice
