I'm having problems with my Plustek scanner OpticPro 4831P. It started giving me a message that "Program was unable to find your scanner. Please ensure...". I haven't changed anything on the computer previous to this, so I'm dumbfounded by what might have caused this. I feel I exhausted all avenues but I can't get the scanner to work anymore. Is there somebody who could give me a clue as to what is causing this and how I can fix it?

That`s the message I get when my Opticpro 4830 is not plugged in. Make sure the plugins are all connected. With mine you can go to the scanner utility and verify port and check the lamp control. Then reinstall the software.
