I have a Pinnacle Micro 10xtreme cdrom that will play normal music cds, but when I try to access programs off of any cd, I get a message that says "The Handle is Invalid".

Do you mean when you click an .exe on the disc the error happens? If so, you can't just click some programs like that. Some require parts of the program to be installed on the HD to run. Then you can run the program from the cd. If that's not what you meant, someone else might have a better answer, check back.
