I have been trying to fix a computer that comes up with this error message "Cannot find device file that may be needed to run Windows or a Windows application. The Windows registry or system.ini file refers to this device file, but the device file no longer exists. If you deleted this file on purpose, try uninstalling the associated application using its uninstall or setup program. If you still want to use the application associated with this device file, try reinstalling the application to replace the missing file. VVINESD.386" I have read many forums about this problem and all seem to be giving me different ways in to fix it, including editing the system.ini file. This I have tried to do, by placing the ; infront of the line containing vvinesd.386, but i can not seem to find reference to this file in the system.ini. I have also read that this file is not missing it is more of an anoyance, I am running out of ideas on how to fix this problem if anyone can help me out, please email me. Thanks in advance Sara

I have tried to use that page to no avail, do to the fact that there is no reference to vvnesd.386 in the system.ini file on the computer, This is where i am getting stuck at because if the ini file is making no reference to it, it should not be creating a error messgae at start up
