Playing Media Files on Windows 95

Comment:
Does anyone know if it is possible to play new songs with WMP 6.4? This is the last version supported by 95. I tried playing and it said to upgrade; I suspect it is due to the WDRM requirements in 9.0.
Is there an alternate player available, or alternate site that offers song downloads for Windows 95 users without WDRM?

What was the file type (extension)?
Whatever, files are constantly being updated which requires updated media players for them to run. There may be alternative third party players which will run on W95 if you Google around.
