is there a way i can extract a still from a .rm file?
i tried prinscreen, but i get black where the pic should be.
i tried capture express - same thing

Tried what you want to do with same results. It probablly has to be played back in a video editing program that accepts Real Audio/Video format to capture the still. There is some info you might want to check out at: http://service.real.com/help/videoccg/editing.html

Sonic Foundry VIDEOFACTORY and ULead Media Studio Pro are just a few of the programs that came up and show they edit Real files, too.
