I have a HSP-2836V pctel modem and I need the drivers for win98. I have a pctel 56k internal modem but it always seems to connect at only 4.8kbps. I can't get it to connect at any higher speed than that. A few friends of mine live in the same residential hall and we connect to the same university network and they can get their connections up to 40kbps. I suspect that there is something wrong with my driver. What do you think?

Got the driver from PCtel for the 56K micromodem, but it keeps asking to input the country every time I boot up. The box on the window is unchecked (Checked = 'Keep asking'). Anybody know how to turn this off?

If the driver installs and your modem still doesn't work...try resetting your Interupt/Request {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{located in your Controll Panel/System/DeviceManager/Modem/ HSP Modem /Resources/InteruptRequest/}}}}}}}}}}!!!!!!!!Change settings to one below 11 that has no devices conflicting/~you will have to uncheck the use automatic settings option~!!!!!!!! (y0 that was a mouth-full) if this doesn't work, or if you are a sweet single lady e-mail me

Hello, I have an onboard HSP56 audiomodem riser 56k V.90 supposedly with fax integrated. How do I get the fax to work. Do I need a special driver and where can I find it. I couldn,t find microsoft fax on my win98 cd rom. Please email me at jmlandry77@hotmail.com

Hi there people, need some help connection wise! For some reason i only connect at 15K with a HSP56 Micromodem! But if i change the HSP settings making out i'm from the netherlands i connect at 50K I think its got som thing to do with the drivers, any help would be most grateful!
