I get an error 630 The computer is not receiving a response from the modem. The modem will work after the initial install but once the pc is restarted/booted the 630 error appears. I'm running Win98 on a Toshiba laptop using a 3com PCMCIA Noteworthy modem. I've gone as far as
deleting all the hardware (modem, port, pcmcia port/socket etc) and letting windows reinstall all of them and still once I reboot I lose communication with the modem?
